An opportunity for area soccer coaches to share information, philosophies, concepts and cutting-edge ideas. This will be an informal setting that will combine a topic presentation and a discussion session. This is an extension of the Coaching Education Program presented by CBC coach Terry Michler. Each evening will begin with a topic presentation followed by question-answer-discussion session.
Meetings will take place at CBC High School on Tuesdays through June and July (June 8 thru July 27). There will be 8 meetings -- time will be from 6:30 to 8:00. There will be no charge and everyone is welcome to attend. The sessions will be conducted by Terry Michler.
The Coaches’ Corner will attempt to go beyond the introductory Coaches Education Program and delve into more advanced soccer topics that the more experienced coaches will appreciate. Current trends in the game, coaching philosophies, youth development, systems of play and training programs will be some of the topics to be covered.
