MLS Experience

2007 SEASON: Started a career-high 27 games at his new right-back position, scored 2 goals and recorded 3 assists.

2006 SEASON: Scored his second straight game-winner in a season-opener in 3-1 win vs. CLB (4/1)…Started at defensive mid, helping defense to 4th shutout of the season in 0-0 tie at NE (8/9)...Recorded his 3rd assist of the season on Scott Sealy's goal in 4-0 win vs. CLB (8/12)...Started his 3rd straight game in 1-1 tie at NE (9/23)...Played the full 90, starting his fifth straight in 2-1 win vs. CHV (10/7)…Finished the 2006 season with one goal, one of which was game-winning, and three assists, two of which were game-winning…Started 19 of 28 games played and tallied 1817 minutes on the field…Took 28 shots and recorded 12 shots on goal.

2005: Appeared in a career-high 29 matches, including six starts in 2005 and also registered a career high four goals on the season...Scored a goal in each of the first two games of the season vs. COL (4/2) and @ MET (4/16), which matched a previous career high for goals in a season...Scored game-winning goal in the 59th minute vs. SJ (5/2)...Scored his fourth goal of the season in the 73rd minute vs. CHI (8/19), the final goal of the Wizards 3-0 win.

2004: Had a breakout year in 2004, his second season with the Wizards. Appeared in 22 matches including 15 starts, scoring two goals and adding two assists for 6 points...Scored his first goal as a professional, the game-winner, in the 60th minute vs. DAL (5/22). The goal was scored on just his second career shot taken...Came on in the 54th minute vs. LA (7/24) and assisted on Davy Arnaud's goal in the 59th minute. Scored his second goal of the season two minutes later...Earned a permanent spot in the starting lineup for the final five games of the regular season as well as the USOC Final vs. CHI (9/22). 2004 Playoffs: Started all four postseason matches for the Wizards, including the 2004 MLS Cup Final vs. DC (11/14)…Scored the series winning goal in stoppage time of Game 2, a 3-0 win vs. SJ (10/30) that helped the Wizards overcome a 2-0 deficit in Game 1 and advance to the Western Conference Final.

2003: Drafted by the Wizards in the 5th round (43rd overall) of the 2003 MLS SuperDraft...Made his MLS debut @ DAL (8/16) coming on to play the final 16 minutes... Made his first MLS start the following week vs. COL (8/22)... Spent two months on loan to the Syracuse Salty Dogs (A-League) from mid-July to mid-August. Scored two goals in seven games with Syracuse.

College
Named C-USA first-team All-Conference… Finished 2002 as the Billikens' second-leading scorer with 29 points (10g, 9a)…Finished his collegiate career with 101 career points, tying him for 10th on the Billikens' all-time scoring list… Voted C-USA Preseason Player of the Year by league's coaches…College Soccer News preseason first-team All-America. Notched 21 points (7g, 7a) in 17 games during Junior year after missing three weeks with a foot injury. Named C-USA Player of the Year and first-team All-Conference as a sophomore…Was the Billikens' scoring leader with 31 points (13g, 5a)…Netted the game winner vs. Memphis in the C-USA quarterfinal…His hat trick at USF propelled the Bills to the C-USA regular-season title and earned C-USA's Offensive Player of the Week award... Ranked third on the club in scoring with 20 points (8G, 4A) and led the team with five game winners as a true freshman… Named to the C-USA All-Freshman team and to the NSCAA second-team All-Midwest Region squad…Netted the game winner vs. Cincinnati in the C-USA semifinal in the fourth OT session.

High School/Club
Member of the 1999 Under-18 regional team… Scored a state record 59 goals in his senior season and 124 goals in his four-year high school career at Kickapoo in Springfield, MO…First-team All-Midwest Region, All-State, All-District, All-Ozark Conference and conference Player of the Year as a senior…A three-time All-District and All-State selection, he had his #21 jersey retired…

Married wife Brittany in November 2006…Enjoys basketball and music…Favorite team is Liverpool… Attended the same high school as Brad Pitt, Kickapoo H.S. in Springfield, MO.

Jack almost scored against Manchester United but was denied by the young keeper.
