i have no clue how illinois or other states do it. more importantly- i dont care.but go to the nscaa site, awards tab, past winners, etc.....there is a d1 high school, d2 highschool, and private/parochial award....(small, school, big, and private). get it?????

again- not sure how illinois does it. but it would make sense to do it this way. as for all american/ all midwest, etc....for players.. each region is allocated a certain number of spots on the "team" according to the registered members with the nscaa.

all of the guidlines are on there.

boot-it, You don't have a clue, this picking a Public and Private coach of the year is not for representation NATIONALLY Rolling Eyes Its out right stupid. Why don't they just pick ALL STATERS based on if their parents make between $30,000-50,000 is on one team $50,001-$80,000 on another and over $80,001 yet another. Why don't you show us how many States do it the Public/Private thing. Here let me tell you 0, Goose Egg, Nada,

This is all one coaches doing and that is TW. Plain and simple. As Jack would say" YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH"

no 50 -- actually you are a complete moron. plain and simple. it is 100% for picking a candidate for the NATIONAL honor. that is 100% why they do it that way. send Chris Miller- the mo soccer coach pres, an email and verify it. that is THE reason that the do it that way.

before you go spouting off like some know-it-all that doesnt know a thing, check your facts. did you go and look at the NSCAA site? like i said? i would bet you didnt. cuz if you did- you wouldve seen that. it's indisputable.

like i said -i KNOW that thats why it's done that way.

let me reiterate-- i could give give two turds WHY they do it that way. but schoolcomesfirst asked. i was trying to inform. facts are facts. the truth has been told.

and what does all state have to do with money a parent makes? that was the worst analogy i have ever read. nice movie reference, but c'mon. and TW has zero to do with it. if you look at teh member list on teh mosoccercoach site- you will see he is not listed. hence- not a member.

they need a fact check button on this site like a spell checker....sheesh!

now come at me with another one, genius.

Could you please post a link of what you are saying cause I did go on their website and did not find anywhere where Missouri had to do this. I would thing that if this is National then ALL STATES would have to follow this and like I said I know of only Missouri that is doing it. Thanks

And the THING I am referring to is the public/private separation THING

Every state association connected to NSCAA follows national guidelines and has a private and public coach of the year. This has been going on as far back as I can remember. It is not something new.

Could you please show me Illinois Private and Public schools coaches of the year in all classes cause I can not find it anywhere.
Could you please show me where in NSCAA by-laws it states this guideline cause I can't find that either. If I see it I will be glad to admit that I was wrong.

thnk you gdawg....finally, someone who has some sense. i tried to post a link, but couldnt get it to post....again, go to nscaa site, click on the tab that says awards, rankings results, then awards program, then past coaches of the year. THERE you will see, when you scroll down, what i speak of.....the site wont cut n paste, but it is http://nscaa.com/subpages/20070503092049647.php.

that's more work right there then you did in your statement that ""like I said I know of only Missouri that is doing it." i ask you this- what states do you know DON"T do it this way???? do you have an answer? or a site/proof of how you obtained your info? or do you just spout off n pretend you know something? is that your game?

i said i wouldnt research who does a private and public, but i'll go ahead since you appear to lazy to do so...just a quick scan on the list of coaches shows me pennsylvania does, new jersey does, maryland, california, new york, north carolina, virginia, michigan, ohio, blah blah blah. those all do. now i got this by comparing the priavte/parochial list with the others. fairly simple. i shouldnt have to do your work for you.

i never said if i was for or against the idea of private/public splits, etc. i just stated FACTS! so your THING, has no relevence in thi sdiscussion. this THING is not a state matter- it's a national matter. it's not a TW matter- it's a national matter.

everyone is entitled to an opinion. if you think that it sucks that there is a split- fine. you can have that opinion. if you sincerely think that your earlier analogy about parental income should determine all state---fine(but that a stretch even you agree is messed up). your opinion is that. an opinion.

but this is not an opinion matter.. it is FACT. the state association MUST submit a private, small, and large school . that was my entire point. never judged it right, wrong, or indifferent. just stated the fact. it is a NATIONAL deal. and i have proven you WRONG. your statement about me not having a clue? cmon...if i post on here, i do my research so i dont get opened up to unfounded foolish declarations like that.

maybe you should do the same.

let me know if you find any states that DONT do it that way. good luck, genius.

again- thanks gdawg.

what do you mean "are you talking about this"??? are YOU that stupid? did you not see that there is a seperate private, small and large school FOR EACH YEAR?? copy and paste that! the only people laughing are laughing at your stupidity!!! i am literally rolling with about 6 other people at how off base you are.

the ORIGINAL post stated "WHAT A JOKE TO HAVE A SEPARATE PRIVATE/PUBLIC COACHES OF THE YEAR. BOY I WONDER WHO GOT THIS STARTED?". it may be a joke? but i answered with a fact. it is what it is.

minime says- How come Illinois does not do it this way and many many many other states? i cant answer that. not sure what they do. but as for teh many many other states part-- i proved that tahts not teh case. i named off 8-9 just from that list. i would say that makes it more that DO.

and FOR A FACT- per the PRESIDENT of teh MO soccer coaches association, they do it this way FOR THE NATIONAL VOTE. talked to him MYSELF. wouldnt expect you to believe that, so i tried to prove it a different way.

continuing my recap- which you apparently need- you said "Why don't you show us how many States do it the Public/Private thing. Here let me tell you 0, Goose Egg, Nada".... but i just showed you that other states do INDEED do it the same way. BECAUSE IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE NSCAA, you are required to do so.

the you attempt to change your language and say "and did not find anywhere where Missouri had to do this"... i dont know that they HAVE to do it. but thats what they DO do. And for the reason stated above. i would think all states do this too, since we do in MO. But i am not SURE that they do. thus- never said ALL STATES. not that i recall.

just to get some factual info here- i took it upon myself to email the pres of ilhssa....he is teh coach at neaqua valley. when he responds, i will let you know. i also emailed a member of teh selection committee for nscaa for clarification, and any "by laws" that state teh case.

i thought that the post where there is EASY TO READ lists to compare-- so you could see definitively that there are coaches from each state in different categories-- ielarge, small, and private...that you would then admit your stubburness. i didnt wanna take up so much space with a cut n paste- but just to please you,,

now if you go through(and this is just 2009), other recent years, you will probably find that most states do this. i am not sure that they ALL do because i am sure that there are states where a coach hasnt won an award.

now illinois may have a system where they have a winner in EACH category(large, small and private), and decide on 1 to push for the award? i dont know. but just because MO PRINTS the winners for each class, doesnt mean that they are THE state rep for THAT LEVEL(ie large, small, private). i dont claim to know that either. maybe illinois doesnt put the list of candidates up like MO does. who cares? not me. BUT I BET that liberty coach gets the large, westbrook gets the private, and whomever went furthest in state from teh small school section gets that nod. not sure, but i bet. and then the AREA/REGIONAL rep takes those names in to the call, for our state. we are in region 5(mcvey reps) and that consists of (Ark., Kan., Mo., N.D., Neb., Okla., S.D.)......i bet FROM THAT group then, there is 1 rep for EACH division, and so on...... you follow me???

make sense?? or do you still not get WHY MO HAS A PRIVATE< LARGE< AND SMALL SCHOOL REP?????

i am sure the coaches honored are thrilled. so who does that bother?

btw- did you notice it says LARGE, SMALL,and PRIVATE/PAROCHIAL on the top of each list? wouldnt that lead you to believe that what i say is fact. you see it with YOUR OWN 2 EYES!!!! my god, ho wmoronic can you be?

"Your stretching it now I never said division or school size is wrong so don't go there. Here how come there are not any PRIVATE/PUBLIC or STATE colleges coaches of the year separated?"....dont know- dont care... who does? you? seriously? and you couldnt sense teh sarcasm in that post?

and what am i off base in? please explain....you do make me feel stupid because i lack the vocabulary to get through to you and get you to understand.

maybe you should take a logic class in college. it could help.

if those emails get back to me- i'll let you know. tell then, have fun with your pals on teh pitch....what a maroon...

funny you didnt address any questions i had of you, and check if your boy TW was a member, etc....again- typical laziness. i do all of YOUR work, just to prove YOU wrong.....jeez
