2010 Player of the Week - week 26 - Mike Ambersley

This week's STLsoccer.net Player of the Week goes to St.Louisan and current AC St. Louis forward Mike Ambersley. Ambersley once again found the back of the net for St. Louis as he opened the scoring with a 35th minute goal to defeat the NSC Minnesota Stars 1-0 in the second round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The goal was Ambersley’s second in the U.S. Open Cup and his fourth of the season in all competitions. AC St. Louis will face the Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California next Tuesday night, June 29, in the third round of the U.S. Open Cup. AC St. Louis will host the Vancouver Whitecaps for a 7:10 kick-off tonight at The Anheuser-Busch Soccer Park.
